FreshRoast SR540

he FreshRoast SR540 makes home coffee roasting easier and more precise than ever. A real-time temperature display allows you to monitor the roast by simply turning a knob. You can also create and adjust repeatable roast programs on the fly, without interrupting the heat or fan functions, even during the cooling cycle—a significant improvement over previous models.

The SR540 features a slightly larger roast chamber and chaff basket than the popular SR500, though it maintains the same 4-ounce (113-gram) green coffee bean capacity (3.5 ounces for dark roasts). Roasts complete in under ten minutes, yielding enough for about 20 cups of coffee.

This fluid bed roaster typically produces a brighter roast compared to drum roasters. Achieving darker roasts may take slightly longer than some stovetop methods, and some smoke can be expected, especially with darker roasts. Each SR540 includes the roaster, two coffee storage pouches, a scoop, and a user guide.
